Pelletstown Newman was performance tested in Tully
between the ages of 7 and 13 months.
He had an outstanding performance achieving
an Overall Beef Merit Index score of 132 which is the
2nd highest ever achieved at the station by any breed
– the highest was 133 and achieved by a son of
Genereux
All Pedigree cattle are linear scored
prior to acceptance in Irish Limousin Cattle Society
Herd Book. Pelletstown Newman’s scores were exceptionally
high for Muscularity, Skeletal & Breed Character.

These scores include 9 points out of 10

Reserve Male National Champion 1999 at
National Limousin Championships while only 14 months
old
Pelletstown Estelle ( Grand Dam of Newman
) was an exceptional breeder and show cow. Her awards

Supreme Champion 1993 and reserve Champion 1994 &
1995.

sires in National Performance Testing at Tully. He is
now the Top Sire of Performance Tested Bulls in Ireland.
Two of his sons stand in A.I. Stations.
In the Show rings, Genereux’s progeny
are outstanding. Two daughters Pelletstown Jezabelle
and Pelletstown Joie de Vivre were awarded Supreme National
Champions for 1996 1998 & 1999.
Another daughter Pelletstown Kerry was awarded Supreme
Limousin Champion at National Livestock Show 1999
